My nephew, Dylan Christensen, turned 8 this April and got baptized last weekend. I was lucky enough to get work off and go to Boise, Idaho to see it! Dylan is a sweet, tender little boy and I can't believe how fast he's growing up!
The trip was a ton of fun! I came a couple of days earlier, before most of the crowd got there, so it was fun to hang out with my sister Keri and her family. With a family is big as ours we don't always get a lot of one on one time with each of our siblings when we get together, so I was glad I got to hang out with Keri for a couple of days.
It was so nice to hang out with my family and be with everyone who came. Although, I wish I could have stayed longer to chat more with my Mom and sisters after the most the company left after the baptism. So we're all praying everyday that sometime in the near future we'll all live on the same block and hang out every day. Until then, we'll just have to buy plane tickets and rack up the phone bills :)
